You must be in an OSU class that has required use of net.TUTOR in order to
view these tests.
Be sure to read the tutorial BEFORE you take a test on it. Here are
some other important hints for doing well on
these tests.
To take a test, first login to Carmen, the Ohio State course
management system. You will be asked to supply your OSU Internet username
and password.
If net.TUTOR tests are available in your course's Carmen site, and you
should take the tests that your instructor assigned there. For example:
ARTS&SCI 120D Internet Tools & Research Techniques
ARTS&SCI 121D Advanced Online Research
ARTS&SCI 122D Career Research Online
Other courses: Under My Courses click the plus sign (+) next
to the current quarter, then find and click the plus sign (+) by
University Libraries (as shown in the illustration). Now click the
net.TUTOR link.
When the net.TUTOR course is open, select the Quizzes link in the
course toolbar (under the Ohio State logo) to see a list of all tests available.
Click on the title of the test you wish to take to open it and follow
directions there. You may take each test only once.
After taking the test, you will be able to see your score. You can see your
grades for completed tests at any time by selecting the Grades link.
